• Zuigan is a Zen monk born in 1972. His interest in music, painting and philosophy started since he was very young. The meeting with the East took place when he was 20 years old, through the practice of japanese and chinese martial arts and the study of indian music. Shortly later decided to devote himself to meditation and to the study of calligraphy.
Poli-instrumentalist, he found in Shodo the way to coniugate the sense of rithm and harmony by the act of writing. Composing a Shodo work is just like to play a musical improvisation whose trace remains, instead of dissolving in the air...

So the question he often asks himself is: "Can you see the sound?"....
