Antonio De Blasi is an italian artist, a draftman, who loves the sea and the human figure, he represents the human figure in realistic and surreal form. De Blasi combine elements that recall the nature to the human figure. His current production goes in this direction. His artistic research focuses on the study of sign and form, the study of darkness, uses few colors that vibrate only thanks to the proximity of black. He does not paint or use brushes, he only uses pencils or crayons.rnAntonio De Blasi collaborates as an illustrator with some Italian and France publishing houses, he creates illustrations for books, this allows him to work alongside editors, writers, poets and journalists; the comparison with these figures has been fundamental over the years for his artistic growth.rnDe Blasi loves solitude that considers essential element for drawing. The figures of his paintings are the portrait of his solitude, with these assumptions born his creatures. De Blasi has exhibited in personal and collective exhibition: in Italy (Roma Nero Gallery, Milan Looking For Art Gallery, Pesaro Palazzo Ducale, Urbino Sala Raffaello, Naples Castel dell'Ovo, Trieste Sala Fitke, Diocesan Museum of Andria, in the Civic Museums of Varese and in the Sala Nevera of Saronno); In the USA.
