Pasquale Ruotolo in art Datlas Erre was born in Naples in 1974. He showed interest in Contemporary Art since a very young age. In 1995 he graduated in Dramatic Art at the V. Bellini Academy in Naples. From 1998 to 2014 he worked as an actor and assistant director for various theater companies in that city. In 2017 he curated several graphic sections for emerging Artists of the Italian Music scene for the Suono Libero Music record label. During his travels between London and New York he devoted himself to Photographic Art, publishing several shots for some prestigious magazines. He obtained the portfolio on Lensculture for his shots and photographic projects. In 2019 he achieved an online master in photography directed by Maestro Steve McCurry and took part in the training course in social Photography at the CSV in Naples. From 2019 to 2021 he exhibits "Amore Velato", "Napoli Esoterica" and "Ventuno" at Area35mm, in 3 collective exhibitions, in Naples "Kaos48" project. That's how he gets his first virtual personal exhibition, entitled "Io Gioco" and promoted by "Kaos48". Still in 2021 he participated in the 6th Annual International Photography Award, reaching the Top 100 photographers of Italy and the Top 35 Photo series of projects. In the same year he received the Dante Alighieri, Arte Nova and Stylistic Excellencies Awards from Art Now. In 2024 from 15 to 25 June he exhibited in the collective "ERRANTES" in the Church of Santa Maria di Portosalvo, Naples.
