Carlo Petrini è nato a Pescara nel 1969. Ha studiato Pittura presso l'Istituto d'Arte di Pescara e sin da giovanissimo ha partecipato a diverse manifestazioni artistiche riscuotendo ampi consensi. Attualmente vive e lavora a Pescara.
Quella di Carlo Petrini è una pittura metropolitana di matrice surreale e di valenza sociale. Il giovane pittore si avvale di una neofigurazione avanguardistica e della suggestione monotonale di luminescenze e punti luce per indagare l'oscurità ferrosa e compatta di grigie masse di rifiuti urbani. Numerosi sono le collezioni pubbliche e private che si sono arricchite dei suoi dipinti.

Biography

Carlo Petrini was born in Pescara in 1969, where he currently lives and works. He studied painting at the Pescara Institute of Art. Since he was young, he has participated in several art events having a great consensus.
The painting of Carlo Petrini is a metropolitan one and it has a surreal matrix and a social value. The young painter make use of an avant-garde structure and a tonal suggestion of glows and light points. With his peculiar language, he investigate the ferrous and compact darkness of gray masses of urban waste. Several public and private collections have been enriched by his paintings.
