SEASONS takes part to a project where the hands are the one and only figure in the picture and the ones who speak and express the concept. In this particular case, there are the hands of a baby, his mother, his grandmother and his great-grandmother: 4 generations to depict the 4 seasons of life. The first 2 pairs of hands oriented upwards, projected to the future, while the remaining 2 are downwards, linked to the past. The baby's hands and his great-granny's hands are leaned on the ones of their corresponding mother and daughter; the hands of these last ones, in the center of the picture, going by in parallel but opposed directions.
I love the fact that you can talk just by using hands, that you can express concepts and ideas without words, but just with this essential part of our bodies - and our lives.
